Brighter Futures
Our objective is to improve the quality of, and access to, community-level culturally sensitive wellness services to help create healthy families and a healthy community environment for children, parents & community members
The five components of the Brighter Futures program include:
- Parenting
- Healthy Babies
- Injury Prevention
- Mental Health
- Early Childhood
The T7MC Brighter Futures Coordinator works in co-operation with the Treaty 7 Brighter Futures Coordinators and the Regional Brighter Futures Coordinator of First Nations & Inuit Health (FNIH). The Committee meets quarterly to:
- share information, resources & Best Practices
- recommend enhancements to administrative tools (e.g. work plan & reporting forms)
- enhance capacity
- identify issues
